Du brauchst einen mittleren Schulabschluss oder einen als gleichwertig anerkannter Abschluss. Auch wenn du einen erfolgreich abgeschlossenen erweiterten Hauptschulabschluss (nach 10 Jahren) hast, kannst du dich für die generalistische Pflegeausbildung bewerben. Wenn du einen Hauptschulabschluss nach neun Jahren hast, brauchst du zusätzlich eine einjährige Helfer- oder Assistenzausbildung in der Pflege oder eine mindestens zweijährige Berufsausbildung.

Außerdem sind folgende Eigenschaften wichtig:

Du solltest gut mit Menschen umgehen können. Geduld und Nachsicht mit pflegebedürftigen Menschen sind wichtig, aber auch der Blick dafür, wann der pflegebedürftige Mensch Unterstützung braucht oder wie du seine individuellen Fähigkeiten fördern kannst. Ebenfalls gefragt sind Empathie, Verantwortungsbewusstsein, Selbstständigkeit und Teamfähigkeit.

Die generalistische Ausbildung dauert drei Jahre. Sie gliedert sich in einen betrieblichen und einen schulischen Teil. Der theoretische Unterricht findet an einer Pflegeschule statt und hat einen Umfang von 2.100 Stunden. Die praktische Ausbildung im Betrieb ist mit 2.500 Stunden deutlich umfangreicher.

Gutes Essen gehört zum Leben dazu. Sicher hast du dich schon oft gefreut, wenn für dich deine Lieblingsspeise gekocht wurde. So geht es auch den älteren Menschen in unseren Altenheimen oder den Kunden unseres Mobilen Mahlzeitendienstes. Wenn du Freude daran hast, in der Küche zu werkeln, aus Fleisch, Gemüse, Kartoffeln, Reis oder Nudeln leckere Gerichte zu zaubern, dann bist du bei uns genau richtig.

Koch und Köchin ist ein dreijähriger anerkannter Ausbildungsberuf. In jedem unserer vier Altenheime in Mönchengladbach haben wir eine Küche – und ein tolles Team, das für die Bewohner kocht. Du bist abwechselnd bei uns in unserer Küche und in der Berufsschule.

Die Gesundheits- und Pflegebranche boomt. In keinem anderen Bereich steigt die Zahl der sozialversicherungspflichtig Beschäftigten seit Jahren so zügig an. Wir benötigen jedoch nicht nur Männer und Frauen, die sich um die Kinder und alten Menschen kümmern, sondern auch Fachleute für die Organisation und den reibungslosen Ablauf in unserem Caritasverband. Wenn du Freude an wirtschaftlichen Strukturen hast, gerne genau planst und auch vor vielen Zahlen nicht zurückschreckst, dann ist der Kaufmann/die Kauffrau im Gesundheitswesen das Richtige für dich.

Kaufmann und Kauffrau im Gesundheitswesen ist ein dreijähriger anerkannter Ausbildungsberuf. In unserer Verwaltung findest du ein spannendes Aufgabenfeld und nette Kollegen und Kolleginnen, die dich während deiner Ausbildung begleiten und unterstützen. Du bist abwechselnd im Caritasverband und in der Berufsschule.

Pflegefachassistent / Pflegefachassistentin

Als Pflegefachassistent/-in unterstützt du Pflegefachfrauen und -männer bei den pflegerischen Aufgaben und hilfst älteren Menschen in ihrem Alltag, zum Beispiel bei der Körperpflege, beim Anziehen und beim Essen.

Bei uns kannst du die einjährige Ausbildung zur Pflegefachassistentin/zum Pflegefachassistenten machen. 
Durch diese Ausbildung wirst du befähigt, als Unterstützungskraft Menschen verschiedener Altersstufen zu pflegen. Deine Ausbildung schließt mit einer staatlichen Prüfung ab.

Theorie und Praxis

Die berufliche Ausbildung gliedert sich in einen betrieblichen und einen schulischen Teil. Der theoretische Unterricht findet an einer Pflegeschule statt und hat einen Umfang von ca. 700 Stunden. Die praktische Ausbildung im Betrieb umfasst ca. 950 Stunden.
Du schließt deinen Ausbildungsvertrag mit dem Caritasverband Region Mönchengladbach ab. Je nach deinem Schwerpunkt machst du den praktischen Teil deiner Ausbildung in einem unserer Pflegeheime oder in einem Team unseres ambulanten Caritas-Pflegedienstes. Zusätzlich lernst du aber auch den jeweils anderen Pflegebereich und den Bereich Akutpflege in einem Krankenhaus kennen.  

Zugangsvoraussetzungen

Du brauchst nicht unbedingt einen Schulabschluss, um mit der Ausbildung zur Pflegefachassistentin/zum Pflegefachassistenten beginnen zu können. Wichtig ist uns aber, dass du motiviert bist und über Deutschkenntnisse im  Sprachniveau B2 verfügst.   

Wann kannst du starten? 

Der Ausbildungsbeginn ist bei uns zum 1. Juni und zum 1. Dezember in Kombination mit der Pflegeschule kbs - Die Akademie für Gesundheitsberufe in Mönchengladbach möglich und zum 1. März, 1. Juni und 1. Dezember in Kombination mit einer Pflegeschule in Viersen (AGP - Akademie für Gesundheits- und Pflegeberufe Viersen oder Pflegeschule VfA e. V. Viersen).

Ausbildungsvergütung

Die Ausbildungsvergütung beträgt ca. 1.114,00 Euro 

Karrierechancen

Wenn du über einen allgemeinbildenden Schulabschluss verfügst, kannst du nach der erfolgreich abgeschlossenen einjährigen Ausbildung die Ausbildung zur Pflegefachfrau/zum Pflegefachmann anschließen.
